| 1st Abstract | I will present observational support for the role of jets in shaping SNRs. In the case of SNR of SN Ia, the jets are likely to be launched during the pre-SN evolution, such as during the formation of the planetary nebula into which the explosion might take place. In core collapse SNe the jets can be launched a long time before the explosion, such as in SN 1987A, or during the explosion itself, as might be the case in Cassiopeia A. I will connect the role of jets to other astrophysical objects where jets play a leading role in shaping. |
